Full Width Override

Allow content and/or backgrounds to be full width even when in a parent column or container.

Adding full width banded sections to your page is great but you cannot do it within a column stack that limits the width to the site width..... Until now.

Sections Box Full Width Override allows you to place full width content inside a column stack and break free of the site width.

Why?

You no longer have to have separate 1-column stacks with full width content in between them.

Simplify your layout, use less stacks and make adding and simplify changes to your layout.

Multiply this over several full width areas of the page and your edit mode is significantly simplified.

More importantly it makes it very easy to add a full width band once your layout is already in place without shifting content into new 1-column stacks.

If you decide you want to add a color band or some full width content within an existing site width column then just add a Sections Box.

You don't need to add a max-width column or Section, add another 1-column stack below and cut and paste content into it.

One Simple Setting

Drop a Sections Box into your existing 1-column stack, set the Position Mode to Full Width Override and you are good to go.

Any background that you add will automatically be full browser width.

Any content you add will behave just as though it was directly on the page. You can use columns as normal to limit the contents to site width.
